Canvas LMS

Not connected

Canvas stays in charge of courses, sections, enrolment, roles, due dates and the gradebook. MusicPal stays in charge of scores, practice instructions, MIDI attempts, AI analysis and teacher-reviewed feedback.

  • Launch & single sign-on. Students and teachers open MusicPal from inside Canvas and land in the right course without a second login.
  • Read the class roster. MusicPal reads who is in each Canvas course and section so you do not re-enter people by hand.
  • Create assignments from Canvas. A teacher picks a MusicPal score, exercise or activity while building a Canvas assignment.
  • Send scores back to the gradebook. Once a teacher approves a result, the score or completion mark is written to the Canvas gradebook.
  • Read submissions and results. MusicPal can see what was submitted in Canvas and keep both sides in step.
